OK, I playing around on my testmachines (nested in an pve).
I could setup a node with an own cluster. This work even I reboot the machine.
pvecm status always OK
Then I pickup a other nodes, all OK within.
Then I decide to remove the new node, I turn it off. pvecm delnode
NODE on the first
Yes. And it is.

Sorry, you're right. Wonder about the E-Mail from Thomas Lamprecht to
one thread, there isn't the header in it.

you should verify that iommu grouping is correct and works, e.g. with
this script (courtesy of the arch linux wiki)
8<-
#!/bin/bash
shopt -s nullglob
for d in /sys/kernel/iommu_groups/*/devices/*; do
n=${d#*/iommu_groups/*}; n=${n%%/*}
printf 'IOMMU Group %s ' "$n"
lspci
Then the best will be, always create a cluster on beginning, even if
you start with one node. But when you decide later to go to a cluster
you could it fluidly,...
Is this possible/recommended? A one Node cluster?
Bye
