[PVE-User] Cluster fiasco and recovery

2019-02-13 Thread Ian Coetzee
Hi All, I just wanted to share something that happened with me yesterday. I am hoping that this will save someone else 4 hours in the future. We have a smallish cluster of 5 nodes (3 compute, 2 storage). The one compute node also doubles as a storage node. Yesterday, I was adding another

[PVE-User] Could a pve cluster has 50 nodes, or more?

I note that sharing the db file, even using multicast protocol, could put a limit to the maximum number of members. Any thinking about a centralized db paradigm? How many members have you put together? ___ pve-user mailing list

Hi I've discovered that Proxmox 5 GUI shows rbd (rbd here as a type) pool wrongly. When I look to /etc/pve/storage.cfg I see that pool is "normal" (like it's in ceph). But when I look to GUI I see that pool is "rbd" (which should be default pool when initializing ceph). See attachments.

Exactly. To remind myself, I applied `chattr +i` to that file. If I upgrade the package in the future, dpkg will throw an error, so that I could handle the transaction manually. -- Zhuoyun Wei On Wed, Feb 13, 2019, at 03:58, David Limbeck wrote: > You'll have to apply your patch again once
