Re: [PVE-User] Web interface issues with latest PVE
--- Begin Message --- Dear all, Thank you for the help. All the problem was indeed solved after updating the repository to *pve-no-subscription* (don't know why I missed this important documentation). Thank you once again for all the help. I will come again with another simple problems. I hope you all will help me get Proxmoxing DONE! Cheers. And then, I cannot create cluster from web GUI with link0 address in dropdown if IP address has prefix (/cidr). I had to create it from CLI. I faced this problem two weeks ago and ended up configuring it from ssh as well. Do you have updated to last version ? I know it should be fixed, but it was not a big problem as it's supposed to be configured one time only in most cases and it could be fixed from console in the time of problem from GUI too. ___ pve-user mailing list pve-user@pve.proxmox.com https://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-user --- End Message --- ___ pve-user mailing list pve-user@pve.proxmox.com https://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-user

that may explain some weirdness i observed yesterday: i added a bridge, rebooted server and after that the management ip adress was gone - i had a look into the configuration file for networking to see that netmask 255.255.255.0 had been converted into /24 after removing the whitespace and reboot network was ok again. And I did notice that a recent update remove the netmask line from /etc/network/interfaces, and puts the /CIDR after the IP address. I'm not sure what you mean here. > then, I cannot create cluster from web GUI with link0 address in > dropdown if IP address has prefix (/cidr). I had to create it from CLI. Sorry, I have no experience with clusters. > Finally, I cannot apply pending network changes from web even after > installing ifupdown2 (without reboot). It complains about > subscription. Do I need enterprise subscription for that? It works for me without enterprise subscription. I do not get a complaint when I apply changes. I believe some issues were fixes recently. Maybe dist-upgrade to Proxmox 6.1-8? You do not need a subscription for this, but you do need to specify the right repository. I'm not sure if any of my remarks will help you, but I suggest upgrading first.
