you mentioned that it is better to use pygame_sdl2 for mobile apps.

I'm replying again-- I do not have any LD_LIBRARY_PATH defined on my mac or
DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH.
However, in my PATH I have /usr/local/lib and both libpng.dylib and
libjpeg.dylib are there.
So do I need to define some additional path? If so, I'd appreciate knowing
what it should contain.

Ok - my LD_LIBRARY_PATH is empty (at least the echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH gives
me a blank row!)
So, perhaps this is the problem? What should it be?
