I just built qscintilla snapshot 20030314,
sip snapshot 20030312, and PyQt snapshot 20030314
on SuSE 8.1 and 8.2 (Beta 3: Qt 3.1, KDE 3.1, gcc 3.3, python 2.2.2)
without problems. At least eric 3.1 runs on top of it...
