Hi Jordan,
if you save the session file with "psw" extension, it becomes a "PyMOL Show
File" which is opened in presentation mode, that's full screen without any
controls.

I haven't tested, but the grid_mode should work, all you need to do is
correct the underscore typo:
set grid_mode, 1 # without _
set grid_slot, 2, object2
set grid_slot, 1, object1
Picture size and quality is not controlled by viewport unless you are
making a movie, in that case set viewport
