Dear all,
I noticed that ray tracing in pymol (v0.90) is significantly slower
ever since upgrading mac os x from 10.2.6 to 10.2.8. Has anyone
experienced this?

Yes, Apple's 10.2.7 and 10.2.8 broke auto-detection of the
second processor. To fix this, manually
set max_threads, 2
before ray tracing.
The next release will fix the problem...
