1) Since I'll be abroad part of this month (and too busy the rest of it) - I need someone else to take care of organizing the upcoming meeting ( http://www.python.org.il/mediawiki/index.php/Upcoming_Meeting ). I might not be able to attend this meeting, but I'll follow the correspondence here and on the wiki, and might help if needed. If you wish the meeting to take place - please contact me, or declare your willingness publicly (mail/wiki/phone). (I was told that these users' clubs tend to fall apart once they lose the momentum...) 2) Re: August meeting. I though it would be a good idea to do the "python sprint" day in August. Note that "August Penguin 5" ( http://ap5.israel.net/ <http://ap5.israel.net/> ) will take place on 11/8 so we should plan accordingly (many of us would like to attend. Also - it might be possible to start/end/continue the session "publicly" *during* AP5 - is it a good idea? (don't know - I think that depends on the sprint's subject, but do speak up). I'd be happy if someone else would take responsibility for coordinating and deciding the subject - otherwise it would be postponed again (as I said - I don't have much time this month). Please suggest/discuss possible topics here and on the wiki: http://www.python.org.il/mediawiki/index.php/Code_Session 3) OSDC 2007 is launching ( http://www.osdc.org.il/2007/ ), and a CFP will be issued this month. As in last year, somebody's got to be Python Contents Manager. I'm willing to take the job if there's no other candidate, but I do hope someone else takes the job this time (I'm not less busy than most of you, and I don't enjoy sacrificing a few more nights of sleep).
