Éric Araujo mer...@netwok.org added the comment:
Mark, distutils2 has to be tested on versions 2.4-2.7 (soon 3.1 and 3.2 too),
that’s why we set 2.5 and 2.6 in the versions too. (I would find “3rd party”
more logical, but Tarek told me to set all versions.)

Éric Araujo mer...@netwok.org added the comment:
Hello
Comma-separated values are a Good Thing™, because you can have one notion
expressed with more than one “word”, e.g. “text processing”.
Could we edit a PEP to reflect this or is it too late? Should someone start a
discussion on a mailing
Éric Araujo mer...@netwok.org added the comment:
Forgot to add I suggest that someone with admin rights move this bug to
Distutils2.

I think it still need to be clarified in PEP that Keywords field accept
comma-or-space-separated values.

Tarek Ziadé ziade.ta...@gmail.com added the comment:
Maybe we could fix the docs and PEP 241 and PEP 314, but PEP 345 has
never been fully implemented, so it should probably be marked as rejected.
