[issue22396] AIX posix_fadvise and posix_fallocate

[issue5309] distutils doesn't parallelize extension module compilation
Jonas Wagner added the comment: I don't understand where this error comes from... The compilation commands are exactly the same in both the before and after logs. The order of commands is also the same. The only difference is this message: *** WARNING: renaming _ssl since importing it failed: build/lib.freebsd-6.4-RELEASE-i386-3.5-pydebug/_ssl.so: Undefined symbol X509_check_ca This message probably occurs because _ssl.so is now built in parallel with _ctypes. In the logs, one can see that the command to build _ctypes.o is executed; because of that, I wonder why the file is missing. [issue22448] call_at/call_later with Timer cancellation can result in (practically) unbounded memory usage.
Yury Selivanov added the comment: Victor, During the code review we tried the single loop approach. At the end Joshua wrote a small benchmark to test if it's really faster to do it in one loop or not. Turned out that single loop approach is not faster than loop+comprehension (but it's not much slower either, I'd say they are about the same in terms of speed). One loop approach might work faster on PyPy, but unfortunately, they still don't support 3.3 to test. -- ___ Python tracker rep...@bugs.python.org http://bugs.python.org/issue22448 ___ ___ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: https://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
