Nothing on python.org suggests that this has actually happened. Could it be that the issue is on your end? It's possible, but I was first notified that it was happening by someone literally 3000 miles away. It seems unlikely that we would both have had the same problem at the same time

FWIW, PyPI was inaccessible for some longish period of time this morning. That I can confirm (assuming you are talking about the UTC night). However, it stopped around 5:00 UTC, so it's clearly unrelated to anything that happened reportedly 2 hours ago. Regards, Martin
