That should be interesting.
You may want to explain in your talk how generator.send works. I have looked it
up now but it was new to me.

Folks,
As an appetiser for next month's PUN meetup, I've put up my first thoughts
on asyncio and coroutines/event-loops/async-I/O:
https://www.buzzcapture.com/blog/python-asyncio-inside/
Writing that post is what got me into the whole topic in the first place,
so it's a bit rough around the edge

I guess it's Reinout's decision, as the host this time around. My
preference as a speaker would be to give the talk in June (a month and a
half after PyGrunn, right?) rather than in six months or so, but typically
the audience outnumbers the speaker so my preference shouldn't be weighted
too high ;

I'm planning to go to pygrunn. IMHO having a talk that zoomes out and talks
about fundamentals would be very interesting (either before or after
pygrunn).

I knew there were some pythonistas out there who were deep into the geo
business! I'm deadly curious about the 'fancy GDAL' magic you are teasing
us with as this is one of the packages I'm working with myself on a daily
basis. I hope I'll be able to save the date.
Happy coding,

If people are interested, I think I'd be able to work up a presentation
about the fundamentals of coroutines, event loops, and non-block

Dag Matthijs,
Super! Dat lijkt mij in ieder geval heel leuk om te horen. Als je wilt kun
