After a lot of poking around, it appears that platform.mac_ver() is
broken in 10.6 (Snow Leopard) because the gestalt module calls fork(),
which causes a crash with
USING_FORK_WITHOUT_EXEC_IS_NOT_SUPPORTED_BY_FILE_MANAGER. This seems to
only happen with py2app builds; I have not been able to repro

Hi,
on my PowerBook 1,67 I get kernel panics when I switch on Airport. When
Airport is disabled it just works fine. Is there any software tool to
test the Airport card?
The PB is running Tiger.
Any known driver issues?
