I recently downloaded Ronald Doussoren's universal binary installer
for MacPython. This installed fine on my Macbook Pro, and the
resulting python version was able to build most of my favorite
extensions (except PyOpenGL, which I can't get to build on any Mac
recently - I'll post a separate

I've been having a beast of a time trying to build PyOpenGL on Mac
recently. My last successful build was 2.0.1.09, and currently I
can't even repeat that.
If I remember correctly, I had to switch to gcc-3.3 to get that build
to work. Currently,
