Hello,
I just made an install of Python 2.4 on my machine. The 'README' is
saying that the install is going to take place on /usr/bin but in
reality things were installed in /usr/local/bin'.
Why is it like that?

install to /us
Sorry but I was wrong about the README file. It said that is going to
install in /usr/local/ and it did. Maybe I was reading too fast. But
they were others errors in it and I made a report so my comments are
going to be helpful anyway. Sorry.
