I'm new to the list and was wondering if Mac's can upgrade to Python v3.
Is it intel specific or will it work on a PowerPC chipped machine?
I'm currently using Python 2.6.1.

Python, 3.4.2, as the default version. So far I’ve not been able to do so.
I know I can use Idle to utilize the 3.4.2 version but I prefer to use a
different editor. I’m not sure if I can do this with a script or plist so
