[Pythonocc-users] SMESH surfacic_mesh.py crash (MEFISTO2D)

2010-07-14 Thread Free Cad
Hello,
has somebody applied the MEFISTO2D algorithm successfully with pythonOCC? I
always get segmentation faults.

I start the example Level1/SMESH/surfacic_mesh.py from the pythonOCC samples. I
select the "smesh mefisto2d" option in the menu, and the example crashes with
the attached output.

Within the output you find a line "sh: SMDS_MemoryLimit: command not found". Is
it possible that memory allocation causes the crash for such a small mesh?

Thank you
Björn

The examples work perfectly here.
Perhaps you can share some details on which compiler you've used?
On which platform are you?

MEFISTO2D is looking ok.
Are you sure you are segfaulting due to SMESH?

Re: [Pythonocc-users] SMESH surfacic_mesh.py crash (MEFISTO2D)

2010-07-14 Thread Free Cad
The platform is Opensuse 11.2, x86_64 architecture, compiler gcc 4.4.1.

The segmentation fault happens at the line
"aMeshGen.Compute(aMesh,aMesh.GetShapeToMesh())" of function smesh_MEFISTO2D()
in surfacic_mesh.py. What else could cause an error at this point if not
Mefisto? The other menu options ("smesh triangle mesh" and "occ triangle mesh")
work fine.

Thank you

Björn
