Setup a VirtualBox with osboxes.org Kubuntu_14.04.3-64bit.7z (link?), then
boot the disk in VirtualBox (may be change of UUID needed), login and open
'Term'/Konsole:

I agree in that installation of deps and the code in general is still an issue, but for this GSoC I think we should not spend too much time anymore - may be during buffer week. I would propose to:
have a Docker/Vagrant procedure (image, etc) that allows us to deploy ANY
