We do not complete FVT on schedule. From above execution statistic, the coverage on Linux, Mac and Windows is with balance, the low execution rate on Linux 32bit is not critical as low priority on platform Linux 32bit 2. We still need to run left test executions in FVT *Volunteer status: * 1. 3 new test execution volunteers(total 42 so far) joined on FVT execution work since Feb 14 2. Need defect volunteers to verify high priority bugs in Bugzilla (see above in Defect summary, any one can contribute on this, please let me know and provide the platforms you can help with) *Plan for next week:* 1. Verify identified high priority bugs 2. Continue to do FVT test on Mac, Linux and Windows Thanks you all for effort this week, although we do not complete FVT on schedule, we really have some test execution volunteers participating actively and make progress day and day. New QA Volunteer
Hi, I would like to join the bugzilla qa-team (j.nitsc...@ok.de). My interests lie in code quality and I would like to learn more about unit testing. I read the good volunteer orientation till Level 3 dev qa, subscribed some mailing lists and managed to compile the code. Is it possible to sign me up for mwiki too? I couldn't find a link. Re: Testing
Hi again and sorry about the late response. Im having some problems undrstanding how to execute the test cases. From what i understand the test cases assigned to me are automatic test cases. for instance, testuno/source/testcase/uno/sd/Chart/ChartTypes.java But i have no idea where to find these scripts. the video in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=re1ZqUEKyeUfeature=youtu.bekind of left out that part. Anyone that can help me out? Regards Daniel On Thu, Feb 13, 2014 at 12:15 AM, Daniel Nilsson dannilminus...@gmail.comwrote: Ok, Thanks. I'm just back from the long Chinese New Year Holidays, and going through tons of emails... I just assigned some test cases to you. You should be able to find them in Testlink by clicking Test Cases Assigned to Me under Apache OpenOffice testproject, and Test Plan AOO 4.1 FVT. Please tell us if you have any further question. Thanks! - Shenfeng (Simon) 2014-02-03 3:49 GMT+08:00 Daniel Nilsson dannilminus...@gmail.com: Hi and sorry about the late response. When looking in TestLink, I see two test projects. Apache OpenOffice testproject and Apache OpenOffice testproject 2. The second one only contains a test case for installing OpenOffice on MAC so i guess that is not the one i'm supposed to look in. The first one contains some more options. Feature Verification Test pass that was mentioned earlier, I guess AOO 4.1 FVT is the best fit from the menu options. But when i click Test Cases Assigned to Me there are no test cases. Have no test cases been assigned to me or am i just looking in the wrong place? I was wondering if someone could add me to qa-team in bugzilla (dannilminus...@gmail.com) and direct me to some beginners tasks Hello Daniel, I've added you to the qa-team in Bugzilla. Welcome aboard! Right now most of the testers are doing a Feature Verification Test pass of OpenOffice 4.1. If you are interested in helping with that then you should: 1) Sign up for a Testlink account 2) Respond back to this note with your Testlink ID and tell us what platform(s) you can test on. Yuzhen can then assign you a set of test cases to try. Regards, -Rob Best regards Daniel Nilsson
