still not working, the GUI would need an overhaul because it renders bad
under linux and it doesn't have a close button.
Try writing to the author and/or opening a ticket in the plugins bug
tracker (if already working).
meanwhile you can use r.los in the GRASS toolbox

My QGIS doesn't crash with the URL, but nothing is shown on the screen.
Just everything white.
I tested on QGIS trunk, Ubuntu 64bit.

It is need use the same CRS of the OSM (EPSG: 4326) to work with others layers.
