Hi all,
I could not find any signal emitted when the current layer of the map

I only found the currentlayer() function in mapCanvas and nothing in the

Did I miss something, is there a lack or is there a reason for this?
Thanks

Hi all.
When calculating the area of polygons with the field calculator, the units are
those
of the current projection. This is pointless in case of degrees (e.g.
EPSG:4326). Of
course one can reproject the layer, but it would be good to be able to choose
the
unit during calculations.
Opinions?
I suppose it uses layer's units rather then projection units.

Hi all.
Loading a raster is in certain conditions unacceptably slow, and as we have

is largely due to stats collections. At least for GRASS rasters, gdal knows he

Hi all.
The new version of DB Manager now has autocompletion for commands (both generic
SQL
and PostGIS/SpatiaLite specific). Still experimental, but approaching
production.
Thanks to Giuseppe Sucameli for programming and Silvio Grosso for support.
Enjoy!
