Hi RĂ©gis,
IMHO, better publishing it and mark it as experimental, so it will be easier to
cooperate.
All the best, and thanks.

Hi Radim,
- (I know that OS people don't like to here it and they will argue
that is is not a way ahead.) WCS is not widespread yet and there are
various issues with implementation in UMN Mapserver (and other
servers) and GDAL. Combination of that issues made it for example

Sure, I should have send a private mail.. sorry for that.

Hi.
I hope this is the right place to send this.
I am working on a plugin in QGIS and want to get a signal when the geometry
to a feature(in this case a polyline) in my layer is changed. For example
if I use the node tool to drag one of the nodes.
I have posted the question on stackexchange,

Yes, requests must be somehow assigned to layers/providers so that
progress may be emitted from the right place. It could be maybe done
using GDALDatasetH pointer? Just another hack.
I've no ideal solution for this. Your suggestion could be indeed a possibility :

Hi Marco,
I don't know if this is a bug or a lack of understanding on this new feature.
On a map composer item, I want to add the overview frame. I can select an
overview style, but the Overview frame drop-down menu only has the none
option.
Is there something I need to do to provide an
Hi John
It is a bug (the feature is still fresh). The list does not get updated
when you add new composer maps.
But it already works if you add the overview map second, since the list
gets populated with the composer maps that are already there.

Marco

You have to have two map frames on your composer. On the the second one
you select it to be a overview map of the first one.
The UI might need some better naming to explain this better.

Thanks. I am playing with it now. It took me a couple of tries to see that it
required more than one map item. This is a great addition to the composer!

A missing feature I have from the ArcGIS world is the possibility to assign
attribute tables to raster data.
GDAL offers RAT support but I don't know of any GIS sw supporting
reading/writing RATs.
Has ever been discussed or planned its support in QGis?
