Hi Régis
The attribute table is not using any providers indexes. And when
thinking about it a couple of questions arise like stable syntax across
providers (different providers need different SQL which either needs to
be translated from QgsExpressions or written by the user). Then a

Hi,
Today I needed to remove a subgroup of items from a legend in a print composer.
I selected the layer title from the list, clicked the minus button and the
subgroup and next subgroup below are removed.
Can anyone confirm this?

Hi Regis,
I discussed this with Matthias today, and it is apparently more related to
refreshing the map canvas.
I also noticed very slow selection of features in attribute table for heavy
project (regardless of the size of the layer). But selecting the same layer,
being the single one loaded,
Hi dev's, I was notified some performance matters when dealing with
selections in attribute tables, by some users swithcing from arcgis to QGIS.
Indexes of datasource seem to be ignored for SQL selection and search. This
leads to very slow selections when dealing with large datasets.
Anyone confi
Hi,
Do GUI updates, like migrating from horizontal tabs to vertical ones, that
do not really add a feature fall under the feature freeze, or can they be
done up until the GUI freeze?
Basically, I'm not quite sure what is modifiable, and to what extent,
between the feature and GUI freezes. Would a

Hi all.
Apparently, when adding a layer with labels (new system) to a project in QGIS
1.8,
the layer is not shown. The same layer, without labels, is shown correctly. The
same
with qgis-dev works well.
Could anyone confirm?
All the best.

To actual see the raster one needs to Strech histogram. I have tried using
TIF and SID RGB.
I did not have this problem before master update yesterday.
