I agree - I don't see the use case for relative project files. In
production environment you will use Apache rewriting and for
dev-purposes it doesn't matter much if the URL is a bit longer.
Plus, as Alex said - relative to what? It is not obvious.

Hi all.
I found during courses that people like a lot seeing that behind QGIS there is

Therefore, I would suggest:

Hi Paolo!
The splash screen of master version is always a photo of the Hackfest crowd
..
And .. How would you include one of the HF pictures in splash? IMHO that
would not look nice ..
And where would you like to add the pictures of developers?
kind regards

Hi Paolo,
you can even set a bunch of environment variables e.g.
export SHAPE_ENCODING=
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/user/apps/qgis-master/lib
exec /home/user/apps/qgis-master/bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi
for testing a freshly compiled master

One question I'm not sure about is if wrapping the fcgi through a shell
script decreases performance (by bypassing fcgi advantages).
May be @Marco_Hugentobler (who knows more about fcgi and performance)
can say word on this.
Invoking the server with script restarts the qgis_mapserv.fcgi

Yes, AboutDevelopers (we had it long ago, nice to put them back IMHO).

I suggest to try to have the group picture from every hackfest there
(basically means a collection of our last master-splash screens) with a

Hi all.
With a qgis compiled yesterday, I'm getting a repeated crash just listing unique
values. Should I open a ticket?
All the best.

Hello all,
recently I update the section about the Options dialog in QGIS 2.0 for
the user manual.
In Options -- General --Project files a new menu was inserted which
deals with macros for project files.
What kind of macros are you dealing with here? What can we do with the
macros?

To keep file size small we could have the pictures somewhere on a web

In the help menu we could also add a link to

Just noticed that getfeatureinfo doesn’t work when we load a wms with a tile
size, for instance with 512 x 512. Can someone confirm?
Thanks,

Hi Luca,
the original one... I hadn't time (at this moment) to check the other

Hi,
in mapserver is possible to define more environment variables and rfer
to each of they for each of projects called.
I guess this is a good and flexible approach.
I don't know but perhaps is possible also in qgis-server.
Regards,
Andrea.
