Hi Andreas,
For my QEP I am not sure how to proceed with the ticket. It has gone 180
degrees from the concept written in QEP. Should I close it or edit the
ticket?
Cheers

Hi all: FYI as per [1], I'd like to update OWSLib to 0.11.2 in master
to support fixes and enhancements to MetaSearch.
Given master is bound to QGIS 3, are we moving towards system-wide
packages in QGIS? If yes is there documentation on this change?
Please advise.

Hi all,
in the status bar the cursor coordinates are shown, but the measure
units is not. Would it be reasonable to add "m" or "deg" to the
coordinates? Would this be complex?
All the best, and thanks.

Yes, it helps !
Thanks Nyall
I previously looked at DB manager plugin, but not for this. I imagined that
there was some C++ stuff behind (just like for providers)
So I’m going to look deeper at the plugin…

Hi devs,
Is there any plan to add MS SQLServer support to DB manager?
I notice Oracle support was added in 2.14…
I don’t have any idea of kind of work such improvement represent…
Should it be funded?

Hi,
Some more research dug up:
http://www.selfstarter.us/ - OSGEO or QGIS.ORG could use this to set up
our own crowd funding site. Integrates with Amazon payments (credit card
fees apply)
https://open.tilt.com/ - seems to only charge 2.5% plus credit cart
fees. Probably one of the cheapest ho

Hi Richard,
It would be definitely useful to have a crowd-funding tool for all devs
or even better, all OSGEO projects.

There are already existing crowd-funding platforms, but usually they
keep a significant portion of the income. As an example, kickstarter
keeps 5% of all
Hi all,
keeping on exploring the Processing - R script capabilities, there are
some input parameters that I'm not able to use.
For example there is the multiple field option, as described in the code:
In a script you can use it with

After seeing Nyall cloudfunding campaign and finding out the minimal is
200 dollar when I wanted to do a small donation for fun, I thought that
it would be cool if we as QGIS or OSGEO would have our own micro
crowdfunding platform...
The idea is to make it easier for (core)-developers to launch su
