Re: [QGIS-Developer] R provider for QGIS 3 - any interest?

2018-05-01 Thread Howard Frederick
Having an R console within QGIS would be incredibly useful! I've been copying and pasting between R and QGIS (keeping the WKT field correctly formatted) using read.table, which works well, too. W.r.t. sp vs. sf, seems like sf is the future for R spatial objects? Any thoughts on this? Crowdfunding

[QGIS-Developer] wfs response paging

2018-05-01 Thread Clayton Steneroden
I am testing a wfs (in development) against qgis and wanting to know if anyone can cue me in as to whether response paging should just work (qgis v3, wfs v2) when you add a layer exceeding the initial points loaded, or if you need other techniques to load all features from a wfs into qgis as a

I have never made a pull request to the core QGIS, but I just attempted it. I don't know if I did everything right and if I didn't please forgive me. The pull request is #6910. This adds the missing r.fill.stats GRASS processing description file. Thanks, Calvin On Mon, Apr 30, 2018 at 11:51 AM,

Re: [QGIS-Developer] PyQGIS: intermittent failure to detect label buffer

2018-05-01 Thread Tom Chadwin
I have a vector layer, labelled, with a buffer on the label. I repeatedly run the following script: labelling = iface.activeLayer().labeling() palyr = labelling.settings() buffer = palyr.format().buffer().enabled() if buffer: print("buffer") else: print("no buffer") Here's the output:

[QGIS-Developer] PyQGIS: intermittent failure to detect label buffer

Hello all This seems a little odd on QGIS 3.0.2 Win7x64. I am trying to determine whether a layer's labels have a buffer enabled: This seems to work intermittently on repetiton. Am I getting something wrong, or has anyone else seen this behaviour? Thanks Tom - Buy Pie Spy: Adventures
