Why not have a "Recently Used" list?

Having an option would be great! In one of our forms, we have a soil
classification field. The students that are entering borehole data relies
on the description while the Geologist rather look at the code. An option
to show both would be code and descriptions would be great!

Hi All,
I like the idea of a switch between Graphic and CAD mode. How about
putting a toggle button near the Render checkbox. Then all users will know
which mode they are in.

How about querying the sqlite_master table to find the data type? And why
not use the constraints found in this query to set up the qgis relations?

I've had the same problems with master. And when I load a project that

removed all references to OL, but that project still crashes QGIS. So I

Hello all,
I just updated QGIS-dev for 32 bit OSGEO4W and it crashed on startup.
Attached is a "Entry Point Not Error" dialog box that mentions "?

Maybe what is needed is a checkbox for programmer related plugins such as
Plugin Builder, Plugin Reloader, ScriptRunner and HelloWorld? One another
idea is to integrate HelloWorld into Plugin Builder?

What would be nice is if QGIS has a trouble shooting option under the help
menu. Through a series of questions, the trouble shooting system can give
the user suggestions on solving their problem.

It might be more then you asked for, but how about Spatialite as an

Just compiled the latest master and got the error:
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/usr/local/share/qgis/python/plugins/sextante/script/scripts'
Btw, I haven't been able to find sextante_qgis.conf anywhere on my system.

How about saving expressions in a "Clipbook"? An expression can be pasted
into a "Clipbook" which would also bring up a dialog to enter a name for
the expression. Several "Clipbooks" can be created in order to organize
these saved expressions. This would be handy in the Python console too.
Btw,
I wish I know what causes this problem. If this problem does not have a

I've noticed qgis hanging when you have a debug build. When I go to the
console and click in it, the debug output unfreezes and qgis once again is
responsive. Not sure if this is your problem?

It would be cool to have a folder called "Recently Used" with the same
hierarchy as the svg folder and have that folder opened by default. We have
something like this with the projection selector.

I've seen nodata with huge float32 values. Unfortunately they are rendered
in qgis and I can not make them transparent by adding the value to the
transparency list.

I wonder if http://grass.osgeo.org/wiki/Ps.output might give good ideas for
drawing a grid on the map canvas.

Instead of a wizard, how about using the customize system to define a set
of profiles (beginner, advanced, etc.)? Kind of like Eclipse Perspectives.

Hello list,
Is there a way set the transparancy based on certain raster values? I know
that it can be done by setting the rasters Custom transparency options, but
I would like to do it in Python.
Thanks in advance!

I know that the Value Tool is a 3rd party plugin, but it would be nice if
the raster-provider could work with it. All of my rasters are reported as
being "out of extent".
