Juergen's fix from Friday of the problem loading empty tables and his fix from
yesterday so that DB Manger now recognizes SpatiaLite version 4 metadata tables
both work. Tested with Larry's nightly build from this morning. I can now
create a new layer for editing and drag and in DB

This is also my experience. Importing a 1.8 project, the default label of
Label is displayed. I tried using the old labeling in a new project with
shape files, postgres and SpatialLite tables. Labeling works for the first
field in the attribute table. Any other field and the default label is
Done. Bug #8030. I set as a blocker as this worked in 1.8 and creates problems
importing 1.8 projects into 2.0.

With the last two nightly builds from Dakota Cartography, if I try to save a
layer style to a qml file for a shape file, GGIS crashes. This works with the
nightly build from May 16, so it appears to be a recently introduced bug. Is

frameworks (GDAL 1.8) and have not had a problem with GRASS rasters, geoTIFFs,
MrSIid, and Surfer GRID files. QGIS 1.7 does have some issues setting colors.
