Has anyone experienced problems loading multi-geometry shapefiles to postgis

I'm back to work on the wktraster plugin as part of a class work for one

Hi devs,
I also had problems to get the startup on c++ plugins development. Mainly
because there was no Plugin Builder for C++. So we had to write everything
from scratch and many are repetitive tasks.
I though about writing a plugin builder for c++ but it never got out of
planning phase. Anyone
What I meant for topology is that one can set a snapping tolerance different
than the snapping tolerance.
For instance, someone would like to snap with 100m so it's easier for the
person to identify the features. But this same person has a pretty well
constrained dataset and it should use topology
HI Alexander!
And thanks for the plugin!
But I'm not able to get it to run on windows 7. I just extracted the dll
file to the qgis/plugins directory, near the other dll files. When I load
the plugin, qgis crashes.
Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone succeded in installing on win7?
All the best,
With further testing I was able to run the dll on windows 7 on qgis 1.6.
My first tests were with qgis 1.7dev from osgeo4w.
Maybe something on the new version is not working with the plugin.
All the best,

If you could reinstall the plugin it shouldn't get the error now.

Hi,
I'm still with the problem of how to get a gdal version from a python API
inside QGIS.
Now i've looked at gdal_tools code and it calls the module gdal and checks
it's version. Seems odd to know that the module and qgis doesn't use the
same versions on a OSGeo4W installation.

Hi Gary,
I've made a small change (one line) on the mapserver export plugin. On file
ms_export.py line 560 I've added the line:
layer_def += 'gml_include_items' 'all' \n ## Optional
(serves all attributes for layer)
This is to expose the attributes on the wfs served by the mapfile

Hi devs,
I'm having a little problem with checking gdal version qgis was compiled
against. Does anyone know how can I do it through qgis api (if it's
possible)?

Ah, now that I read again, it IS a gdal version issue. The Does not exist
in filesystem message means it's not recognizing the postgis driver.
To tell it without mistakes, could you check gdal-info --formats and check
if there is a postgis raster driver there?

I've used pyqt4 for table listing. I don't know what's going to be QGIS'
default pg library, but it's easily replaced.
