I noticed that qgis 2.3 (debian nightly repos, just updated) is not
working.
No problem to open qgis, but then, when loading any layer (raster or
vector) it crashes saying segmentation error.

Having a separated libloc causes also a maintenance problem, as the libs

there can only be updated (with ease) by SEXTANTE, that does not (?)

here an example for extracting and plotting pixels based on vector, point
or polygon shp file:
##[MyScr]=group
##vector=vector
##raster=raster
library(raster)
s - shapefile(vector) % high level function from raster package, the
argument should be only the file path+ name
r - brick
to the documentation... Actually every time a script
has some non-conform values it disappears from the list...

Thanks for your ideas
you can tell SEXTANTE to use the raster package by using
##myraster=raster|R.Raster
of creating the obejct and pass the filename string to R. That woul
be more flexible, and not to complex.
