Hello to all
Last version (3.16.3) successfully installed!
The problem in 3.16.1 and 3.16.2 versions are no longer present and no new
issues identified.
I hope it stays that way! ;)

Anyway you can install gdal300dll and proj62dll packages (like

Hi Myriam,
the numbering of the standalone installer and the numbering
Thank you Martin for your response.
Do you know how i can go around this problem? Install QGIS and GRASS
separately? With which executable?
Do you know where it's possible to report the problem so that it can be
solved by the developers or do you have to wait quietly for the version?
Or do I

Hi all
I installed the version of QGIS with QGIS-OSGeo4W-3.16.2-2-Setup-x86_64.exe,
but the versions that were installed are 3.16.2-1 (not 3.16.2-2) for QGIS
and 7.8.5-1 for GRASS, checked with OSGeo4W Setup.
When i use QGIS with "QGIS Desktop 3.16.2 with GRASS 7.8.4" link, i get the
following

However, as far as I can tell, the OSGeo4W component installer seems to only
know about 3.16.2*-1*

Hi Pedro,
yes, I can confirm that both 3.16.2-2 and 3.10.13-2 standalone installers
ship QGIS with GRASS 7.8.5 and the issue is now fixed for both thanks to
Jürgen E. Fischer.

Hi Andrea,
This seems fixed in 3.16.2-2 released yesterday:
https://qgis.org/downloads/QGIS-OSGeo4W-3.16.2-2-Setup-x86_64.exe
I believe 3.10.13-2 also fixes this issue.
Do you confirm?
Best regards,
Pedro

Yes.
QGIS 3.16.2 and QGIS 3.10.13 installers contain GRASS 7.8.4 which needs
gdal300.dll and proj_6_2.dll, but both the dlls are missing.
On the contrary, GRASS 7.8.5

Hi Pedro,
have you looked into the Log Messages panel?
Is there something about failed load of grass plugin dll modules?

Since we are at more than two weeks of the next point release cycle and it
affects LTR, maybe this needs emergency standalone releases.
What you think Jürgen?

Hi Andrea,
I believe this report is yours, right?
https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/ticket/655
I can't confirm right now because I've some processes running on Linux in
the same machine (dual boot), but I think that is the issue.
Thank you very much for digging into this.
Best regards,
Pedro
Hi all,
After updating from QGIS 3.16.1 to 3.16.2, I can't run GRASS algorithms,
they fail to get outputs.
Downgrading to 3.16.1, everything works fine again.
QGIS 3.16.2 is still shipping GRASS 7.8.4, and I'm thinking if can be some
issue related to that, as 3.16.2 from OSGeo4W is using GRASS
