I am using both QGIS 1.6 and QGIS 1.7 r15108 from KyngChaos with the latest
frameworks (GDAL 1.8) and have not had a problem with GRASS rasters, geoTIFFs,
MrSIid, and Surfer GRID files. QGIS 1.7 does have some issues setting colors.
This is fixed with new raster provider. This is using OS X 10.

1.6. Nothing to do with raster reprojection then.
It may be related to GDAL version (AFAICT 1.8 in that package). Maybe
paths are not found? Also GdalTools are not working.
Thanks.

Hi all.
Sorry about my deep ignorance about OSX. In a course, one of the students
installed QGIS on her mac from http://www.kyngchaos.com/software/qgis.
Everything went well, but when starting to use rasters she is getting
constant crashes.
Any special thing one should do to fix this?
All the best.
