[Qgis-developer] no more map ?

I'm running qgis from master after a long time and facing a gui that does not show the map: http://strk.keybit.net/tmp/qgis-nomap.png Where the map should be, a "Recent Projects" tab is shown, near a "News" tab, but I can't find any way to remove those screens to unveal the map again. The
