Regarding last emails from Jürgen and Nyall, is this is a sufficient
reason to bump to 4.7?
I don't what is worth my opinion, but +1 for me.
I believe we should reach a decision soon???

I found out the reason but I cannot fix it.
I think that the problem is related to the fact that all the function in
the Vector and in the Raster menu are provided by ftools and gdal. I looked
in the .ini file and under the Vector and Raster menu there are no entries
that describe neither ftools
Hi!
From what I can see (and I agree there with Juergen) only bumping the
version does not make much sense without deleting the
ifdef QT_VERSION ( = 4.6) in the cpp source code.
Because after bumping the version these lines would not make much
sense anymore ..
I don't know if this can be done
Hi Marco,
I found time to test QGIS-Server master on gdb.
I'm testing GetCapabilities, and QGIS-Server segfaults after sending the

Hi, I would know objections in order to change some shortcut keys in QGIS

Hi,
I think the confirmation messages are mainly from a time where there was
no undo possibility available. Assuming that the undo works properly I
am ok that the confirmation message is suppressed.
Alternatively we could ask for confirmation if there is more than one
feature deleted.

Hi Andreas, thanks for your comments.
I think that the edition (delete features) is much more agile without many and
repetitive messages boxex. In principle UNDO tool works fine.
There is a pull request with these changes:

Best regards
We could also ask for confirmation the first time and then let the user
flag a Stop asking for confirmation, or something like that...

Hi dev,
I'm on Ubuntu 13.04 (raring) and my QGIS master segfault on close.
No need to open a layer to have this.

Given that adding/removing a complex layer can be expensive and there is no
undo I would suggest to have a single key shortcut (D) with confirm and a
modified one without (Ctrl-D). You want to avoid the user doing something
dangerous and in this case that is removing a layer layer without undo.
Hi devs
Within a plugin, I need to make some kind of geometric topological
manipulation on every feature as soon as it is added to the layer by
the user.
My best guess was to use the featureAdded(QgsFeatureId) signal and to
modify the geometry within it.
Unluckily it looks like the geometry is
I have the same problem, see the bug report (closed as invalid) and add any

It is somehow related to the gdal build, because if I used libgdal-dev from
ubuntugis my qgis build is ok.

I agree with Nathan.
I think that 'D' should ask confirmation, we can imagine the reaction of a user
removing accidentaly a configured layer.
'Ctrl+D' could remove layers without confirmation.

Please don't understand me wrong - I don't insist to use single-key shortcuts

Instead of a confirmation when deleting a layer, an Undo-action for
already deleted layers would be much more helpful.
Cause you can happily confirm to delete sth, but figure out you were wrong
