Re: [QGIS-Developer] Ctrl Tab in QGIS3: cool! ... but...

2018-02-25 Thread Jeremy Palmer
I've noticed on Mac the shortcut is actually fn+cmd+tab. I guess that is
because on Mac cmd+tab brings up the application switcher. Would be nice to
change this to ctrl+tab like windows and LINUX.

[QGIS-Developer] Ctrl Tab in QGIS3: cool! ... but...

2018-02-25 Thread Richard Duivenvoorde
Hi Devs,

Just heard from Regis that we have have this beautiful Ctrl-Tab, which
hides the west, south and east panel from QGIS to have a clean map.

My question is what the reason is to not hide the toolbars.
Was it too difficult because you have to remember all active toolbars?
OR was it because the idea is that users still have to be able to reach
the toolbuttons?

Because if it is the latter, I would ask a feature request: maybe
Shift-Ctrl_Tab to also have the toolbars hidden :-)

Regards,

[QGIS-Developer] Processing Help within Modeler wrong URL

2018-02-25 Thread matteo
Hi devs,

thanks to Alex work we have know solid anchors and url for Processing
algorithm help.

BUT, it seems that when the help button is clicked within the Processing
Modeler, the URL is not build correctly:

Wrong from modeler:

https://docs.qgis.org/testing/en/docs/user_manual/processing_algs/qgis/database.html#package

vs correct from Processing toolbox:

https://docs.qgis.org/testing/en/docs/user_manual/processing_algs/qgis/database.html#qgispackage

Cheers

Matteo

Gidday all

According to the download web page I should be able to install 2.18.17
or later using the https://qgis.org/debian-nightly-release repository.

However at the moment these repos don't appear to contain packages later
than 2.18.16, for any platform like stretch, unstable or bionic

The roadmap says 17 should be imminent so is it just delayed a little?

Well, packaging takes some time (according to Juergen Debian
test/build/packaging without errors is 24 hours), it is weekend, some
builds had (test) problems, packagers are volunteers too, etc etc :-)

Future is near, but sometimes takes some time...
