Using Linux grep, you can remove the problematic tags, for instance to remove all lines with TR, do: grep -v TR fluxpyr_221010_1.kml fluxpyr_221010_modif.kml This deletes about two thirds of the lines! You can use sed to have more control. If you want a graphical interface/an easier Windows
