Few weeks ago, QGIS trunk started rendering composer's legend with
odd/unneeded vertical spaces (see http://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/ticket/3605 for

I believe the problem is caused by changset 15242, applied by mhugent 4

to find core.lib, gui.lib from Python/QGIS directory. How do we build these

In label old generation there is already:
Data defined placement
Data defined properties
Data defined buffer
Data defined position
in qgis r15554.
I do not know where the Date defined position is but I guess this
should be Data.
