Hey all,
In order to close another blocking issue off the list I would like to
propose that we run with the vector version of the current logo that has
been created in http://hub.qgis.org/issues/6688.
This logo still looks the same but being vector will look much nicer. The
logo is currently used
+1 for agreeing on a logo across the board.
If vector proposal agreed, it'd also be a good opportunity to add high
resolution icons for application shortcuts on Win / Linux / OSX. By 2013,
qgis is the only low res icon on my desktop :)

Hi Stefan,
Good idea. This version - because the italian part is white, would even
leave some space for the QGIS logo ;-)
Who will design the splash screen?
Should I go ahead and ask Swisstopo for permission? I think that even
for the Dufour or Siegfried maps we should ask for permission. Even

Hi
I took a look at the various maps linked to. I prefer this on:

The large tracts of white in the Siegfriedkarte don't really work for me
and I find the above one much more visually interesting and not at all
depressing. I also do not think it matters that the

I don't mind the background idea, but I was just thinking why not get some

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is a bug, so I put here before opening a ticket.
I made a screencast to illustrate the situation: http://goo.gl/VPVe9
Basically, when I clean a filter created with Advanced Filter in the attribute
table, and do apply, it does not show all the records again, and shows a
Hey Pedro,
Yeah it's a bug. It's trying to eval an empty expression which can't
really work. The correct behavior would be to change the filter back to
Show All Features if the expression is null and the user presses Apply.
Can you file a ticket for this please.

I don't think it matters what gui toolkit it uses, as long as it works.
WxWidgets is simpler to bundle with an app and has a lot smaller footprint than
Qt. The main question is whether spatialite_gui works with wx 2.9, needed for
a 64bit build, and for compiling at all on Mt Lion.

and it points to some heap memory issue. pls provide support to resolve
this.
