Hello everyone,
I need your help.
I have generated an image from a wms, i did it with this code, is a transparent
background image and generates the pgw at the same time. The
background of the image is transparent, because I need to place it on
another layer, the problem is that when making the

Probably not a nice example for the cookbook, but this does the job and even
works alike on 2 and 3 (essentially what QgisApp::saveAsImage does):

Hi all,
I'm working on a qgis3 plugin, and want it to export my map as a png
image. According to the cookbook it should go like this:

But QgsMapRenderer has been removed in v3, so I will need other

The qgis2web code could be adapted, though of course it doesn't handle every
possible style.
Sorry I was unclear if you were referring to the Qt package being
unable, or complete packages for bionic full install of Qgis.

Hi!
I'm using QGIS Version 2.18 and I try to change the classification mode via
python from "Continuous" to "Equal interval".
I found out there is "setClassificationMode" for version 3. Is there anyhow a
possibility to change this in version 2.18 ?

If you do exactly as you mention, that would be confusing for the

Hi Nyall,
Thanks for your thoughts.
And how about going through GDAL/OGR and exporting vector layers twice?
One time as raster with styling preserved, and a second time as
invisible vector overlays (e.g. fully transparent but still queryable
(attributes preserved))?
My fear with upstream qt

Dear QGIS developers,
One of our sponsors is asking if there are any ways/plans/upcoming
improvements regarding export to GeoPDFs.
Specifically of interest are:
* export of georeferenced data (query coordinates)
* proper export of the exact same styling from QGIS (the
