I cannot set User Defined Coordinate System as Default for new projects
or for new layers. Here is the debug output:

I think, i found a memory leak in qgis branch release-2_18. The 2.14.x is not
affected.
It doesn't matter what kind of layer i load, raster or vector, qgis starting
to eat more more memory (ex. more than 8 GB ) , with just a single layer
loaded.
Can anybody help me, how to debug
