As Etienne said, you can use geojson if you want to.
I recommend it.
Create geojson files that look like this:
{
"type": "FeatureCollection",
"crs": { "type": "name", "properties": { "name":
"urn:ogc:def:crs:OGC:1.3:CRS84" } },
"features": [
{ "type": "Feature", "properties": { "id": 1,

GRazie Paolo

Etienne,
Being a newer user I don’t know about the QGIS API. I will take a look.
Thank you,

Nicolas,
Thank you for the link. I was able to use the info to create a wkt file that
worked. But I also had to use a blog post to help me to figure out how to add
the proper header:
https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/107152/how-to-create-wkt-file-readable-by-qgis-2-4-0
Non lo avevo mai usato. Ora provo.

I think I have found the issue in the code. In qgslayoutatlas.cpp, in line
347. I believe that what is happening is that the entire path is converted
into a QFileInfo fileName() somehow (I'm sorry, my knowledge in C++ is very
limited) so my understanding is that because a file cannot contain a "\"

Hi Anthony,
SAGA outputs SDAT grids that can be opened in QGIS, just drag and drop onto the
canvas. You can convert them to whatever format you prefer after that.

Hello All,
I had the same problem and I solved it with the help of William.
I installed the versions of both 2.1 and 2.2 of GDAL which SAGA uses and
then I made a clean installation for QGIS3.4.
Hope it helps.
Best,

Hi Anthony,
A temporary work around would be fire up SAGA itself and run fill sinks from
there? Then heading back into QGIS or, if you can, completing the rest of your
workflow there. I’ve had the exact same error before and similar errors when
trying to use some of the other tools in the past
