extremely slow and thought that a good way to handle this would be to have
the connections tested or accessed in a separate thread and after a few
seconds mark the layer "not connected" using some visual flag and as they

you don’t see the properties window?

I am using qgis 3.12 and i am no longer able to access the properties of my
layers. Is there anybody who had this problem?
I tried uninstalling everything, but it did not work, im kind of blocked right
now.

Besides default F11 to go full screen, there is als:
Ctrl-tab which should hide layermanager and other panels
Ctrl-shift-tab which hides ALL widget stuff, so in combi with F11 can be
use to have a full screen MAP ...without any QGIS related items...
To be found in the bottom of the View menu
