Re: [Qgis-user] Problems creating an HTML web map of my project

2020-10-26 Per discussione Mike Flannigan

I'm not a whole lot of help, but here is what I can
tell you.

A qgis2web export worked for me on
Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon
QGIS 3.10.10
GDAL  version may be 2.2
Python 2.7.17
8 GB RAM

I turned off QuickMapServices.  If you need that on, let me know.
It created a 43MB directory.

The delay was about 10-15 seconds, so you might want to let
yours run for more than 3 minutes.

I could upload this thing if you need to see it.

Added qgis2web in the Plugins Manager, re-started QGIS.

mouse for 2-3 minutes, then displays some Python errors, which are beyond my
pay-grade.

QGIS 3.15
GDAL 3
Python 3.7
OSX High Sierra (10.13.6)
Mac mini mid 2011

16 GB RAM

Attached is a file of the errors. Grateful for any pointers.

Infatti a volte genera proprio quell'errore. Vedi
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/issues/27899 con possibile risoluzione.

Comunque la domanda è stata posta anche nel gruppo Facebook GIS Italia
https://www.facebook.com/qgis.it/posts/1674769466020397 con alcune risposte

A presto.

commit della transazione: sqlite3_exec(COMMIT) failed: database is locked”

[Qgis-user] Filter layers spatially?

2020-10-26 Per discussione Bernd Vogelgesang

Hi,

filtering layers (Right-click on layer -> Filter...) for attributes is
possible for a long time.
Now I wonder if (and then how) it would be possible to filter layers
based on an other layer spatially.

My use case is, that I have a cadastral layer with 1.3 million features,
but I only need subsets of this in a time for a project area.

So I created a bounding box ("Bounding geometry") around the area of
interest and would like to subset the cadastre to those features
within/intersecting/touching/whatever the bounding box layer.

The "normal" workflow so far was, to manually select the cadastral
features in that area and create a copy, cause working with the hole
data set takes much too long to redraw the canvas on every move.

I now would just like to test if such a filter (if possible) would have
better performance and spare me the act of creating copies all the time
for different areas.

Could not find anything on that on the web.

Cheers,
Bernd

  Hi all,

As a temporary circumvention, you may try to edit the source file
(inside /etc/apt/sources.list.d/) and change the distro from groovy to
focal:

deb [arch=amd64] http://qgis.org/debian focal main

It is possible that no dependency issue show up.

Hi Reginald,

I've got the same problem and had to boot into Windows to continue using
QGIS this morning. I had QGIS 3.16 installed on Ubuntu and it was
removed during the upgrade to Groovy.

Regards, Frank.

is a dialog that pops up that says that postgis has to be removed. As I
don't want my postgresql database to be altered I wonder if anyone can tell
me when there will be a package for groovy gorilla.
