I want to label vectors (roads) with proposed addresses:
21 23 25 27 29
==
22 24 26 28
I suppose I will use the Qchainage plugin and then post-process the
output with a simple perl script to get the exact labels I want (20, 30,
40...).
I don't suppose I can make them on
@Ramon,
You'll find that QGIS is being used in increasingly wider circles.
We are using it at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology as one of our Desktop
GIS products. I know of others in other departments in Federal and State
government as well.
@Grant,
Also try asking on the OSGeo AustNZ
Hi,
If you have teamviewer, maybe I could log on to your machine and see if I can
spot something. You would will need to have the admin password.
That could be problematic in an office. You could set up a temporary
admin if they don't like that.
I am in Montral.

Hi
I would like to know if there is an option to add a marker onto the
georeferenced map in the georeferencer tool when you click to add a point in
QGIS (using v2.14), and then choose to go back to the map canvas? Only just
started to use this but for detailed maps with many lines etc I
Hi,
I'm trying to decipher pcs.csv (Is there a documentation?):
my guess was:
PARAMETER_VALUE_1=lat_0
PARAMETER_VALUE_2=lon_0
PARAMETER_VALUE_3=k
PARAMETER_VALUE_4=x_0
PARAMETER_VALUE_5=y_0
But apparently that's not exactly the case for parameters 1+2, for instance

Hi,
If you log a formal bug report, you will most likely get more help from the
developers.
Does anybody else have an idea???

Hi, just wondering if anyone has an idea as to when the next LTR will be
released. I was looking at the QGIS road map and from what I can tell LTR
2.14 was planned to be released 26 Feb 2016, I know plans change so I am
wondering if there is a new ETA?

Hi,
Samuel, there are also plugins available in QGIS that do such things:
MultiPrint and Maps Printer (from me, though not up to date with all the
recent improvements of print composer). Give them a try.

Hi Uwe,
For Windows tablets there is ROAM [0]
QField [1] (former QGIS Mobile) can only be run on Android so far, but
that's nothing that could not be fixed.
Best regards

Hello List,
does anybody know an Open Source alternative to ArcPad for a Windows mobile
GPS handheld? As far as I know, QGIS mobile can only be run on Android.
All I found on Google was gvSIG (which seems to be dead since 2010) or
questions from other people searching the same as I.
Hi Grant,
Not in Perth, but in your workspace.
My sense is that most QGIS users in Aus are in local government - but there is
a small chance that this is sample bias due to being at workshops organised by
DMS.
Have you tried asking on the Aus-NZ mailing list?

Hi All;
Is there a way to export a specific composer to PDF from the command line
or through python? I have a large number of print composers already defined
for a particular project, and would like to export them all to PDF without
having to open each individually and click the 'Export as PDF'
Hi
After updating QGIS from 2.8.4 to 2.8.9 the symbols of Digitizing Tools
are lost in the tool bar. You can use the functions, but the symbols are
not showing.
To reinstall the Digitizing Tools have not solved the problem. Has
anybody an idea?
Thanks,
