[Qgis-user] Nothing shown in overview?

Dear Users, I`m using QGIS 0.11.0 in Windows XP. I can load data in QGIS but nothing is shown in the overview? See here: http://www.selbstverwaltung-bundesweit.de/overview_qgis.PNG There is just that red square with no content?? What can I do please? Thank you in advance, Kai -- Pt! Schon

Hi, I'm no programmer just a FOSS GIS/RS user. I know most plugins are created via python. I'm just curious what can we do with the python console? Any examples I can practice? I have learned a lot of bash scripting by using GRASS. Maybe I can learn more python with the QGIS python console.
