I've found this tool for reading out styling information from ArcMap®
and converting into Styled Layer Descriptor-Files (SLD) of OGC

once converted into SLD, can it be used in QGIS?

It is possible to print different extents of the same map. The possibility to
have different layers loaded for the different map is planned for the next
stage of composer development this year.
