Hi Mike,
Yes there are some spaces it the fields and some '-' and '_'
Field data type is: character(33)
I did try it out on other fields and it DID work just fine that is why I'm
stuck.
Do I need to remove all special characters and spaces?
Cheers
michael

Hello,
EPSG 900913 is not defined in QGIS, you should try EPSG 3785 (which is
now deprecated, but the correct EPSG number (3857) is not in the QGIS
database yet).
If it doesn't work, try

It's a bug, I can reproduce it with QGIS 1.4. The problem is the data

Hi list,
I've got a shapefile with points. The altitude (Z) of each point is
registered as attribute data.
Is there a way I can obtain a shadowed elevation raster with QGIS ? I've got
a little or no experience with raster processing, but I learn fast :)
Thanks !
Jeremy
Thanks, it is working !
But one question: is it possible to display coded value domains which I
have defined in mdb file ?

Ah, you need to install the FFTW framework, which is in my download archives.
As I mentioned originally, I haven't rebuilt GRASS in a while and it still
needs FFTW. Future builds will not need it.

Hi Brett,
Short answer: yes. Assuming you are using a relatively current build of qgis,
say 1.4.0, you can do this with the vector editing tools. In fact, this
capability has existed for quite some time through various vector editing tools.
Good luck,
