I have problem with adding geometry column to some kind of shapefiles.
After executing the function 'export/add geometry column' all xcoord and
ycoord values equals zero.
I can confirm this behavior, QGIS 1.7.4, 32-bit Vista. Things work as they
should in Master
Hi Des, rather than using your contour data to make a DEM you might be better
off with OS OpenData DTMs and using the point sampling tool on these (you're
after what, spot heights?).
Where the landform hasn't changed since back in the Neolithic when the OS
DTMs were made they're not bad.

Hello,
Are any plans to implement in Sextante plugin of Qgis algorithms which
are already available in gvSIG CE ?
I mean algorithms from such groups: 3D, TIN, Visibility and lighting and
many others.

Sextante toolbox is something that just got introduced to QGIS, so I think
eventually it would.
I suggest for the meantime you visit
http://hub.qgis.org/projects/sextante/issues and request any tools you
would like to see added.

Hi,
I'm running QGIS 1.7.4 on windows 7 and can't get the Georeferencer plugin
to load. I've tried reinstalling QGIS but when I select the plugin nothing
happens.
It did run when I was last using QGIS a month or two back and I can't figure
out what would have changed to prevent it loading
