Please don't attempt to extract vector data from the google images, this data

As was mentioned, I would look at the Open Street Map data
(http://www.openstreetmap.org/) & the qgis openstreetmap plugin.

When I start qgis 1.8 a message appears

I don't know then. (I thought it might be a known problem with missing CSV

When I open it, nothing happens.
If I open another project, ask me "do you want to save the current project?
In the project there wasn't a CSV file, and I didn't delete or move layer
source outside of qgis.

Hi,
I created a project in Qgis 1.8 (OSX 10.6.8), it was saved correctly,
opened many times but today I can't open it. It's very important for me
because I spent much time working on it.
On the contrary, I could open a project created in an earlier version.

Hi Jaime,
http://www.saga-gis.org/ Saga GIS allows calculation of the hyposmetric
curve; under Terrain Analysis--Morphometry-->Hypsometry. If you install on
your system & install the sextante plugin, you can access this function
within qgis.

I have tried with plain .csv files of points or shapefiles and both give the
error in matching up OSGB and WGS84 coordinates for the same point. Basically
the points are shown several metres apart when you allow on the fly
transformation, error on all the same amount and in same direction.

Hi all
Thanks for the report, Andreas. Here's my two cents:

team even though the deadline of the Call for Workshops was over.
So next year I hope we come up earlier with a workshop submission.
