[Qgis-user] North Arrow on Print Composer

Hi there I am setting up a print composer with QGIS 1.8. What I am missing is a plugin for the North Arrow llike the one that exists for the main QGIS window. I helped myself out with a flash and a N on top of it but that's not what I really want. Does anybody have a suggestions? thanks a lot

You can accomplish this with gdal. On QGIS 1.8.0, go to the Raster menu - Miscellaneous -Merge. Select all of your input files and check the layer stack option. The output will be a new tif image with each of your previously independent images as a band which you can then assign to the RGB guns by
